Luke has been filming weddings since college, but didn’t know it was an option for a career until he met Christiana, whose first gift to him as a girlfriend was a set of business cards to convey she believed in him and his talent. She brought to the table a feminine eye, and a background in business and art. They realized they complemented each other with different strengths and similar goals, and as their relationship grew so did their vision for Light Cannon Films. Now, they are both full time wedding filmmakers and full time parents, in a constant relay of editing, traveling, filming, diaper changing, cooking, cleaning, laughing, and serving the best clients ever.
They both began life on the west coast, and migrated with their very large families to the east. When they got engaged and Luke asked Christiana how she pictured her life, she said she wanted a small farm in the middle of a city, and they’re working on making that dream come true. They live in sunny Wilmington, NC, and plan to call this place home unless they can find a way to move with all their family, friends, and the beach. They have two hilarious and bright baby boys named Mathis and Beck, five chickens with names that sometimes change, and one barn cat called Friday.
