When is Black Friday 2018?

Black Friday sales always takes place the day after Thanksgiving in the US.

In 2017, Black Friday officially fell on 24 November, but this year, Black Friday falls on Friday 23 November 2018.

When is Cyber Monday 2018?

Black Friday 2018 deals will continue over Saturday and Sunday before Cyber Monday comes just three days later.

This year, Cyber Monday falls on Monday 26 November 2018, with some sales stretching across the entire four-day period before the slightly-milking-it ‘Bounce-Back Tuesday’ lands on 27 November for those who still have money in their accounts.

Black Friday is on Friday 23 November 2018 but most retailers will inevitably put offers live all week as the annual shindig takes over the whole month.

Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year, and has long been thought of as the commencement of the Christmas shopping period where you can buy anything at a discount from beauty products and clothes to toys and homeware.

But Black Friday is the best time of the year to buy anything tech related from TVs, and speaker systems to tablets and game consoles.

Big names that took part in 2017 include Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, Tesco, Currys PC World,GAME, Carphone Warehouse, M&S, ASOS and Very.

Expect a huge range of tech and gaming items including the retailer’s own-branded items like the Amazon Echo speaker and Amazon Fire tablet in the sales.

The high street chain is a great destination for shoppers looking for discounted toys, tech and electronics like laptops and TVs.

John Lewis says Black Friday is “the perfect time to stock up on Christmas presents” and to help you along the way, the department store is promising even more hot deals for 2018 across appliances, TVs, computers and other gadgets.

Tesco Black Friday deals (online and in store)

With the closure of the Tesco Direct site we predict that the majority of deals that the supermarket giant runs this year will be in store.

The high street giant will offer eager shoppers huge savings on tech gadgets and electrical items – watch out for discounts on top branded products like Fitbit activity trackers, Apple laptops and tablets as well as Dyson appliances.

Black Friday deals on alcohol

The big supermarkets including, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, ASDA, Lidl, Aldi and Morrisons, will all be offering discounted rates on all food and alcohol come Black Friday so if you’re supplying your own alcohol at your wedding (or just stocking up for Christmas) then it’s definitely worth visiting either a larger store or getting onto their website ASAP.

More specialist alcohol suppliers such as Majestic, The Whisky Exchange and Master of Malt will provide substantial savings on Black Friday too.

Black Friday wedding stationary deals

Papier will be offering 20% off everything site-wide for Black Friday 2018.

Online stationery brand Papier sells a range of wedding stationery, invitations, photobooks, notebooks and place cards, all of which can be personalised. They’re offering 20% off of everything for Black Friday this year.

Black Friday deals on jewellery

Olivia & Pearl Jewellery will be offering 25% off of everything!

Olivia & Pearl’s Believer ear jackets are down from £120 to £90 for Black Friday 2018, their Aphrodite statement earrings that are usually £220 are down to £165 and the favourite Believer pearl ring which retails at £105 is now £79.

Scream Pretty will be offering 25% off all their lines from Black Friday through to cyber Monday.

Buckley London is offering between 50% to 70% off jewellery

Costume and fashion jewellery brand, Buckley London, have a mammoth Black Friday 2018 sale. All items will be between 50% to 70% off from 19^th November until 26^th November.
