Formals of Litchfield has always made finding your Bridal Gown an exciting and memorable experience. With their large selection, newly renovated location and charming staff, they have been a leader in the central Illinois region. Every time I visit them I’m excited to see the new additions and advances they are making to their showroom and know that this enhances the customer experience. They are extremely passionate about what they do and truly understand the impact they have on a Bride’s special day. They never look at it as “selling a dress”, they really want to build a relationship with their Brides and make sure they feel like princesses.
Goal:
In the past, Formals worked with several other video production companies but were typically unhappy with the lack of professionalism and results: “I’ve had guys come from the news station in Springfield and they take 2 hours to set-up their stuff then ask us what we want to do. They really didn’t seem to care nor did they want to take a little bit of time to understand our business and what we do. ”
This unfortunate story is pretty consistent with other companies’ frustrations as well. One of our primary goals was to help develop an effective dialog about the video so we all were on the same page as to what we anticipated the end result would be. We brainstormed some great ideas together, reviewed areas of the showroom to focus on and thought of some good, open-ended questions for the interviews/testimonials.
Result:
With a good game plan and a passionate staff, we were able to develop an effective video that highlighted the Formals Bridal Experience. “We have a ton of Brides come in and tell us how much they like our videos!” — Katy Pederson — Dress Designer “The other companies in our business rave about our videos and are so envious.” Making a promo video for Formals was fun for both of us and helped effectively tell their story to prospective customers.
