When Alicia Rodriguez was a young woman, she dreamed of one day owning a business of her very own. Her dreams of the future and of being a business owner also included being able to provide for her son, Fred, and daughter, Maribel.

By 1994 Alicia had saved enough money to launch a small business in Chino selling wedding gowns and accessories. After a few years she realized that her love for seeing happy brides planning for their special day had grown into a business selling wedding gowns, shoes, holiday and Quinceanera dresses. The location in Chino was getting so full with dresses, she had to start looking for a larger place to allow for her growing inventory as well as space for trying on items.

In 2005, after looking for over seven months, she found an affordable location in Downtown Fontana that provided street viewing and walk-in traffic. Her family was thrilled, and in April 2006 with her two children by her side, she opened Princess Bridal at 8551 Sierra Avenue.

Maribel, Alicias daughter, went into partnership with her mother and brother Fred because she loves helping people find exactly what they are looking for their special day. For over ten years, Maribel has spent time watching trends and learning how to run a small business. She is also very excited to finally get to work with her mother and brother.

Princess Bridal carries everything needed to plan a beautiful wedding – from the wedding gown for the bride-to-be, to the tuxedo rental for the best man. If you are planning a Quinceanera, the store carries a wide variety of styles and sizes to fit a budget. Need a holiday gown or a dress for prom? They have many elegant dresses and evening attire from which to select.

Despite the economy, hundreds of people are still planning weddings and special events, said Fred. Last weekend, we met with dozens of customers trying to help them find that special outfit or accessory. I feel our family was blessed in moving our business to Fontana, and am hopeful that we will continue to be successful in Downtown Fontana for years to come.
