Deliveroo is adding another string to its bow by offering a wedding catering service to newlyweds…
Whether you’ve got late-night munchies, a killer hangover or just can’t be bothered to cook, Deliveroo has come to our rescue on many occasions. But have you ever thought about asking them to cater your wedding day?
Well, now you can, as the much-loved delivery app is launching its very own wedding service, with the first Deliveroo wedding taking place later in 2018. Rather than working through the app, couples will receive a dedicated account manager, who will help them discover the variety of options available for their big day.
Catering with a twist
“No two couples are the same, so why should be settle for the same venues, songs and meals?” says bride-to-be Martha Macgregor. “We loved the idea of having a relaxed takeaway vibe but wanted to make sure it was tasty and amazing food, hence Deliveroo.”
Multiple cuisine types will be available to choose from, with the company using its Editions sites to help cater for the large amounts of food it will be producing.
“The wedding industry represents a huge opportunity for Deliveroo. We’re not just delivering orders for large groups, so we jumped at the chance to flex our caterer muscles and help Martha create an amazing menu for her guests.”
