Today’s submission comes from Lottie, who got engaged in her hometown, in our Perfect Wedding Guide Dallas / Fort Worth Texas market.
Here’s what Lottie told us about her fiance, Desmond.
Desmond surprised me by flying to my hometown Arlington, Texas to propose to me in front of my family and friends when I was in town hosting my best friend Whitney’s bridal shower.
It turns out, Desmond had got Whitney to get my ring size during the planning of her wedding and bridal shower. He had my other best friend Brittany go with him back in Atlanta to pick out the ring.
While I was in Arington, my other friends said it was a must we go to dinner after Whitney’s bridal shower since I was in town. While we were at Bar Louie, Downtown Fort Worth having a good time enjoying cocktails and great conversation. Mid-conversation, Desmond came out of nowhere!
I was shocked! My first emotion was “love” then I was like what is going on. He started talking to me and then got on one knee and asked me to Marry him! I said yes!
The DJ started playing “Let’s get married” by Jagged Edge.
I was in awe! It was perfect! Best proposal ever!
