Sporty hens

Begin this hen party with a hearty breakfast with your best girls – you are going to need to fuel up for the jam-packed day ahead! Head to It’s A Knock Out for a battle of the sexes, teams of hens and stags compete in an action-packed event involving water, foam and an inflatable obstacle course.

Jet-setting hens

Take this sun-seeking bride on a minibreak she will love, surrounded by her closest family and friends. Head for somewhere like Ibiza for half a week, indulging in bottomless brunches, all day pool parties and delicious dinners. You could even look at booking a package with Ladies Who Hen.

Sophisticated hens

Take this bride for a relaxed day of wine tasting in London – perhaps sampling wines to serve on the big day. Follow the tasting session with more wine and dinner at Babylon Restaurant at the Roof Gardens, before finishing the evening by seamlessly moving through to your pre-booked zone in the club area afterwards.

Budget-conscious hens

Gather up a big group of girls and all head to one of your houses (decked out in hen party pieces) for garden games, homemade cocktails, vodka jellies and a fabulous buffet spread. Buy a ‘pin the junk on the hunk’ game, hang up a piñata and play ‘guess what the groom answered’, before heading out for a night in your local town – dare cards and scavenger hunt items at the ready!

Festival hens

Time the hen do right and head to a festival with your girl squad – mega brownie points if you can organise everyone getting to Glastonbury! Hire huge tipi tents and decorate them with bunting, fairy lights and pegged up Polaroid photographs of the bride. Start the day by playing party games around the tent before going to see your favourite bands – sporting matching festival dresses, of course.

Country hens

This bride sees her hen party as the perfect excuse for a girly weekend in the countryside, so hit the road and make a beeline for the South West. Stop off for a farm shop breakfast, indulging in fresh berry smoothies and pancakes to start the day. Embrace your love of all things natural at your next stop, a flower arranging workshop, like those hosted by Pod & Pip.

While away the day learning how to create the prettiest of posies and enjoy a low-key but super lovely lunch of cheese, charcuterie and sourdough bread. There’d be tea and cake to tuck into in the afternoon, too. When evening arrives, head straight to one of the South West’s many brilliant boutique hotels for dinner, rounded off by peach Bellini’s at the bar.

City hens

Head to Edinburgh for a daytime underground ghost tour, where you hear tales of how the poor and unfortunate lived in the slums and stories of death, destruction and disease while you walk through the darkened vaults. This bride is all about food, drink and partying, so spend the evening in the new town, indulging in a meal at Treacle – a restaurant that serves cocktails and the most amazing bar food with a really cool vibe to it!

Stay at one of Edinburgh’s amazing hotels, like Dustan House in the West End. A full Scottish brunch on Sunday at Roseleaf in Leith would round off what would be an amazing and fitting send-off.

Crafty hens

Whisk this bride off to get creative with a make your own flower crown workshop with The Crafty Hen and make a crown that you can all wear for the rest of the day! Once you’ve finished your floral crowns, scour the world’s largest antiques market along Portobello Road, possibly even picking up the odd something old for the wedding day. Before the day ends, roll up your sleeves for a two-and-a-half-hour screen printing workshop where you’ll design your own tote bag, cushion covers and bunting with This Is Cluck.

Glamorous hens

Treat this bride to a long weekend trip in the home of partying, Las Vegas! For this bride’s hen party, a change of scenery is a must to make it one to remember. A helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon would tick off one of her bucket list entries, alongside seeing J-Lo perform live. Dancing the night away after a cocktail making class at a trendy rooftop bar one night, with an in-hotel spa day of nourshing treatments the next, would complete her dream party.

Adrenaline-fuelled hens

For a group activity and such a special occasion, for this bride it would have to be a totally unique and thrilling experience – something none of her hens had done before! An easy short-haul flight to Germany starts the long weekend, surrounded by the dramatic Alpine scenery of the Black Forest, which makes the perfect territory for supercars.

What better way to immerse yourself in this view than from the seat of your chosen supercar along one of the most fast-sweeping routes in Europe? Cocktails and a rejuvenating spa hotel in between are a must before moving a few hours east to go hot air ballooning over the Bavarian Alps.

Party hens

For roaring laughter and some serious eye candy, treat this bride to a hen party at a Forbidden Nights performance. Before being entertained by fire acts and a cowboy routine, venture out together for an ultra hip gin tasting session. And after the show, hit the town for more drinks and party games.

Traditional hens

Head to the honey-coloured city of Bath for a morning of relaxation and girly chat, while soaking in the Jacuzzi and re-energising in the steam room at Thermae Bath Spa. Look out over the city from the heated rooftop pool and indulge in luxury spa treatments.

A traditional bride won’t want to miss the opportunity to enjoy a delicious afternoon tea with her best girls, so after the spa head to The Royal Crescent for finger sandwiches, delicious cakes and scones smothered in clotted cream and jam.
