There are very few wedding gown details as beautiful as a row of satin covered buttons lining the back of a bride’s gown.
That long elegant line is something your eye immediately goes to as the bride passes.
However, if you are the Mother of the Bride, Maid of Honor, or even the wedding planner tasked with dressing the bride; it might be the hardest task of your day.
Especially if you have a perfect set of manicured nails, or we hate to say it “man hands.”
Getting the tiny, cloth covered buttons through the shiny, ever moving loops can make anyone go Bridezilla; and there are a lot of them.
Our wedding tip of the day:
A Crochet Hook!!!
This slender metal rod with a hook at the end will save your sanity. It perfectly loops behind the button to pull it back through the loop. It makes this frustrating task much more manageable.
Good Luck!
