Three seasons are better than one.

This couple decided to include THREE seasons in their wedding and it did not disappoint!

Krystle Wattick shared her and her husband’s beautiful love story with us in her own words:

“My husband and I originally planned on having a fall wedding, but when Spring worked best for us, I decided to keep the fall theme with the Burgundy/Navy colors and gold accents.

Our wedding theme was Rustic Glam.

We got married in Golden, CO at The Boettcher Mansion in April of this year. It is a historical landmark over 100 years old, located at the top of Lookout Mountain. We chose the setting for the beautiful mountain views while still being close to the city of Denver. We are both originally from the East coast and 90% of our guests had to travel to attend, so it was a destination wedding to most (We live in CO).

It was a very small and intimate wedding with about 30 guests. Spring in Colorado is very unpredictable so we had no idea what type of weather to anticipate on the big day. 2 days prior it was 80 degrees and sunny out. The day before the wedding brought a big snow storm and while the snow was so beautiful in our pictures, we froze our butts off! We always wanted an outdoor ceremony, so we braved the cold and made it happen regardless.

I previously worked in the bridal industry selling wedding dresses. My dress is actually a custom, one of a kind dress that I found on accident. I had recently gotten engaged at the time, but not yet looking for THE dress. During training of new staff, I tried on some separate pieces from our Martina Liana Bridal tester trunk show going on. I always said I would NEVER wear crepe because it is such an unforgiving fabric and I was not that confident.

Well it turns out I am THAT bride who fell in love with exactly what I thought would look awful on me (even as an experienced bridal stylist). Since the corset top was part of the tester show, had I not ordered it then, I would have forever missed out. I later found out that piece did not make the collection, making it truly one of a kind. I paired it with Badgley Mischka Bridal crepe skirt, straps and a waist sash and had all the pieces joined and made into my dream dress!
