Technology is a wonderful thing!
These two met through an app and had no idea what kind of romance was about to be kindled.
How We Met:
Both Greg and I had been talked into joining dating apps by our friends to get back into the dating scene as busy professionals after having just gotten out of long-term relationships. Neither of us had any intention of getting into a serious relationship through an app, but alas, fate had other plans.
Something about Greg really struck me though, and part of that was because his first message to me was about something I had put in my profile and wasn’t just a “hi” or “you’re beautiful” #BrowniePoints. We messaged back and forth for a while and he asked me on a date to the Aquarium (at Icon Orlando) which was fun but it was small so the tour was short and we really didn’t want the date to end so we decided to walk down International Drive and talk and we eventually ended up at a quaint Parisian cafe and talked until it was dark outside.
When I left that night, I text my best friend and told her that he was the man I was going to marry!
How He Asked:
We had a family fun day at Main Event Arcade where we ate dinner and played arcade games with my mom, stepdad and little sister. After we finished at the arcade my mom made the suggestion to walk to Icon Park to see the eye, so we did. As we approached Icon Park, right outside where we had our first date, Greg dropped down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. It was honestly the best moment of my life. It was so amazing how it happened right back at the place where we started.
