After dressing the Duchess of Sussex for her evening wedding celebrations, we knew it would only be a matter of time before the launch of Stella McCartney bridal
Stella McCartney has at long last launched its first bridal collection, Made With Love. The 17-piece range reflect Stella’s naturally sexy, confident, feminine and modern tailored designs, with seven dresses, a bridal tux and a lace embroidered jumpsuit.
The line will now be a permanent category in Stella’s business, with it set to grow to include accessories, menswear and options for flower girls and page boys too. Building on the brand’s signature eveningwear offering, each style stays true to its ethical values, with materials including sustainable viscose, as well as modern versions of traditional couture fabrics including lace and chiffon.
In-store clients will receive a bespoke bridal customer experience, working closely with the Stella team to find the perfect style for their important day. Each style comes a blue tag sown into each piece featuring a personal ‘made with love’ message from Stella, acting as the bride’s ‘something blue’.
The launch follows the exclusive limited edition ‘Made With Love’ dress that was launched in June 2018 to celebrate the opening of the new 23 Old Bond Street store. Inspired by the reception dress designed for the Duchess of Sussex, it featured a high neck and deep low back, and was made in lily white and onyx black.
