Time and distance didn’t keep Kianni and Ryan apart. Here’s what she had to say about her turning him down and then eventually saying YES!

Ryan And I met back in 8th grade. He asked me to be his girlfriend and I turned him down.

He ended up moving out of state later that year and I thought I would never see him again.

A few years later, our junior year of high school, he texts me out of the blue, asking me for advice on how to ask a girl out in his High School.

She turned him down luckily because then Ryan and I were able to start talking again.

A couple of months later, we agreed to long distance dating. 4 years pass by with constant flying back and forth to see each other.

Then we decided to go on a missions trip to Nicaragua together with his church. On our tourist day, we had the opportunity to hike up an active volcano!

Once at the top, we put our backpacks down, I turned around to Ryan hugging me and whispering in my ear before he bends down on one knee and asks me to spend the rest of our lives together.

It completely caught me off guard but I excitedly said yes!

January 17th, 2020 I will be married to my best friend.

Congratulations Kianni and Ryan, we can’t wait to see your wedding photos!
