After being together for almost 6 years, the day before Jessica’s 24th birthday Jacob made plans to take her out to the local pumpkin spectacular for her birthday.
When they arrived, they were sad to see that it was a 3+ hour wait to get in, so Jacob quickly made the decision to cancel those plans and go to the walking bridge.
When they got to the bridge, they walked to the halfway point of Kentucky and Indiana. Jacob was pointing out the Louisville skyline to keep Jessica from looking at him but when Jessica turned around Jacob was on one knee and asked if she’d marry him.
Jacob proposed with his Mamaw’s ring, and of course, Jessica said yes!
